Aroma: citrus (grapefruit mostly), coffee and roasty notes; Appearance: black as a Kirchhoff’s black body, big and strong tanned foam, good lacing; Taste: strong bitterness, medium sweetness, quite intriguing, very good mix; Palate: medium body, rather creamy feel, average carbonation, long bitter and dry finish; Overall: very interesting and good beer, good drinkability but "black" as in "Black IPA" should be a little more "prevalent"(?)

500ml bottle. Pitch black color. Medium size, brown head, stays. Hops, roast, coffee, chocolate malts in aroma. Roast, sourish, sweetish, milky taste. Long lasting roast in aftertaste. Medium carbonation.

330ml bottle (Omerta, Krakow)
Lovely hoppy dark beer. Huge roast. Nice burnt corners, and a ton of new-world aromatic hops. Sweetish, keeps the roast really tasty. A storming hoppy stout. Black, tight beige head.

Bottle. Muddy brown, medium head, nice lacing. Aroma is mix of dark malts (chocolate, coffee, wood) and american hops (citrus, pine, herbs) with some ash too. Bitterness is fine, with some sour taste as well. It’s full, even quite heavy, well carbonated. Nice.

Bit muddy deep red-brown beer with thick-set dark beige head, slowly receding with lace. Dry hop, roasted notes, even coffee, dry leaves. Roasted flavour, bitterness is both roasted/burnt grain as aromatic hoppy. Finish is again weak coffee. Rather light MF, gristslickness, medium to well-carbonated. One big issue with this one. This isn’t a (black) IPA in my book, but a very heavily hopped dry stout. However, it ain’t half bad. Dziękuję bardzo, Aga i tatę!

W aromacie sporo chmielowej świeżości, lekka paloność, aromat mógłby być intensywniejszy, choć był całkiem przyjemny. W smaku czuć lekko grejfrutową, lekko trawiastą goryczkę, ciało w konsystencji i smaku przypomina brytyjskiego portera, spora gęstość, gorzka czekolada w smaku, spora słodycz fajnie kontrowana goryczką. Piwo nie wybitne, ale bardzo dobrze skrojone

Recenzja z 31.03.2014. Kolor czarny, nieprzejrzyste. Piana wysoka, dosc szybko opada, zostawia gruba warstwe i troche oblepia szklo. W zapachu intensywna zywiczna, kwiatowa i cytrusowa nuta chmielowa, sporo slodu, lekka kawa, minimalny przyjemny diacetyl. W smaku pelne, slodkie, lekko kwasne, intensywnie kawowe i palone, lekko mleczne. Goryczka srednia, intensywnie lodygowa, lekko sciagajaca, aromat zywiczny i slodkich owocow tropikalnych. Wysycenie srednie.

Bottle. Great hoppy aroma, combined with roasted malts bringing in the coffee and chocolate in the mixer. Similarly in flavour, citruses, mostly grapefruit but also the roasted malts and coffee balancing the flavour. Really good.

Head disappears quickly. Smells of coffee, roastiness and citrus. Taste of coffee and grapefruit with coffee on the stronger side. Medium body. Lovely bitter finish. Great beer.
