3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
(Bottle 0.5l) Black, untransparent color. Huge, brown, thick, slowly falling head, lacing. Medium body, soft carbonation, a bit creamy texture. Aroma: Medium to strong citrus hoppy notes, moderate roastiness. Taste: Moderate roastiness, dark malts, slightly sour, soft bitterness, notes of milk chocolate. Pleasant, short hoppy finish, roasty aftertaste. Not ortodox but very good stout with character of modern hops.

500ml bottle (Małe Piwo, Warsaw) - Shared with SRPOL - thanks!
Slightly rough chocolatey aroma. Basically black, a small tight tan head. Full in the mouth, but pleasant carbonation. Lovely rich roast. Pleasantly burnt, but not astringent, yet there’s a metric fuckton of bitter hops. There are even hops beating the roast in the aroma too later. A touch of ginger too. Massive bitter dry finish, both burntness and hops. Leaves you thirsty for more. A stonking hoppy stout.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Some piney hop notes are there for sure but overall this beers feels much less American than I expected. Lots of chocolate and roasted grain with minor bready notes in the aroma. Fullish body, rather strong bitterness. In the middle it feels like liquid chocolate flooding the throat, as the body and chocolatey flavour go wonderfully with the creamy carbonation. Very refreshing and immensely drinkable.
