Bottle from a friend, many thanks Bobo. Dark brown color small off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, fruity notes. Taste, dark chocolate, roasted malt, cocoa beans, light sourness in background. Chocolatey finish. Good.

Roasted malts aroma with some spices. Taste is malty, vanilla and toasted cake. Lots of spices mixed with sweetness with hints of wood. In my opiniom it’s not a perfect blend.

Bottle, 6.2%. Fruity and roasted aroma, seems a bit spicy. Cloudy, muddy dark brown colour. Small light brown head. The flavour is sweet and spicy with some vanilla. Tastes like cocoa powder. Roasted papery note, but good. A bit of a mess of spices, but not so bad afterall.

Bottle. Pours cloudy dark brown with airy off-white head. Sweetish aroma of malt, caramel and spices. Sweet taste of malt and raisins with some nutty notes. A little watery mouthfeel and a little to much chocolate (parfume?) in the finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with a huge tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and light spiced. Chocolate, vanilla and caramelish. Sweet and dense chocolate finish.

Bottle. Dark malty aroma of chocolate and caramel, vanilla notes, light notes of fruit and coffee, some hints of dry wood. Light sweet taste, medium bitter, light astringent. Medium body, moderately deep malty flavour, rather dry finish with notes of coffee and earth. A very nice chocolatey winter beer!

Ponownie słodkie piwo z Ale Browaru. Zbyt mało nut goryczkowych i palonych. Piana maleńka i znika, a właściwie ma problemy z tworzeniem się podczas nalewania. Kolor czarny prawie tak gęsty jak Sweet Cow. Ogólnie fajna sezonowa polska ciekawostka na święta. Pinta Wesołych świąt była lepsza i to znacznie.

Overall: not bad but not my mug of beer
