UPDATED: MAY 19, 2015 (Bottle 500ml) Aroma : smoked, roasty, caramel with some whiskey notes ( when beer gets warm you are able to feel only whiskey) Appearence: dark almost black , small quickly disappearimg brown head Taste very sweet, roasty malt taste with very weak bitterness and some sourness Palate: very thin and low carbonated (Coca-Cola texture) . Nice whiskey aftertaste. Overall: interesting beer, guys from Alebrowar managed to give this beer whiskey flavor and aroma despite that beer itself is too sweet and too thin.

Aroma of burned cables, bandage and whisky, I love it, but last time I have drunk it, was much more intense. Dark brown colour with weak tan head. Taste is whisky, coffee, some sourness, medium to low body. Overall good, but Smoky Joe used to be in better shape.

Butelka 0.5l (15.06.2015). Piwo lekkie w odczuciu, minimalnie jakby musujace, winne z przyjemnym spalono-slodkawym posmakiem. Goryczka zaznaczone przyjemnie drapie w gradle.

Gdzieś w tle wycofana czekolada i kawa. W afterteasie pozostający posmak apteki i kawy zbożowej.

2014-10-19 Bottle. Pours dark brown, beige head that reduces to a ring. Aroma is dominated by a peated malts. In taste also peated malt, but also chocolate, roasted malts. Full body, low carbonation, dry, bitter finish. Very good beer.

Bottled, with date 14 IV 2015. Pours very dark brown and clear, with fizzing, brown head, pretty low and disappearing quite fast, leaving a small bubbled circle. Mostly smoked aromas, some roastiness and earth aromas. All very pleasant and deep. Also some liqourly aroma in the background, but a pleasant one. Medium bodied, but seems pretty thin, low carbonated. Taste composes of dark malts, then some dark bread and ending with a quite sour bitterness and dark chocolate aftertaste. The bitterness is quite long and a little astringent, but it’s matching to the taste. After warming a bit, you can also smell some vanilla and coffee there. A pretty nice stout.

Aroma is full of smoke, peat malt, smell like hospital , old bandage, iodine! Beer is viewless, deep deep brown to black, clear. Head is creamy in color and structure. Beer is dry, smooth, bitter is medium and linger. Full of smoke malt, little bit coffie and chocolote. Body is light to medium, texture is thin, carbonation is medium to hight. Finish is astringent, bitter and loooong. High recomend!

Black color, tan head. Aroma is bitumen, medical, peat smoked malt, chocolate. Taste dry, bitter with small sour and salty notes. Flavor is smoked malt, bitumen, peat. Aftertaste is short and dry. Medium body, low to medium carbonation. This is one of most intresting polish beers, but not for everyone.
