Czarne jak smoła z niewielką pianą. W aromacie torfowa wedzoność, spalone kable i czekolada w tle. W smaku trochę słodyczy, lekka goryczka i kwaskowość. Powtarza się odczucie z aromatu. Średnio gęste i średnio pełne. Dla wielbicieli tematu pozycja obowiązkowa.

On tap at Kuflei Kapsle in Warsaw, Poland. Opaque, black-brown with a 2-finger tan head and very good lacing. Aroma of wood smoke, roasted malt, mild dark fruit, caramel and peat. Taste of wood smoke, caramel, roasted malt, mild dates, iodine and peat. Medium/full body and low carbonation. Pervasive smokiness on a sweet malty stout base, which surprisingly works out to a decent balance. However, the lack of much carbonation diminishes the mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Barwa ciemna i gęsta jak smoła. W aromacie ognisko, popiół z drewna. W smaku lekka kwasowość, mocna paloność, treściwe, mało gazowane.

Draft at the RateBeer Best Festival 2016. Pours deep brown with a creamy, khaki head. Intense TCP/peat in the aroma. Medium sweet flavour, with heavy peat, some cocoa, scorched earth. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with a hearty allotment of smoke, more peat, cocoa. Good one, but quite peaty.

( AleBrowar Smoky Joe Fan Edition (2014-)) Bottle 500 ml at home, thanks to mgajdaczewa! Served into a shaker, ABV 6.2% Dark brown red colour on the body, almost totally black, with something less than two fingers of thick, dark beige head. Good retention, Aroma has lots of smoke, light malts, smoked meat, peat. Taste has also lots of smoke, roasted malts, light caramel, maybe some toffee, difficult to say as the smokey and peaty flavours cover everything else. Medium body, biting carbonation. Pretty good.
