Do not be fooled by the mates from the pub, the cow pies are not made in a pastry shop. If you are looking for more sweetness in your life, reach for a stout with a pinch of lactose. The milky and coffee flavors, in this dark beer, will soften even the toughest guys. The Sweet Cow is the first polish beer brewed in genuinely British style, which is milk stout. The name comes from the ingredients used in the process of production. To be more specific, it comes from the milky sugar, which is added at the stage of cooking the wort.
Malts – Pale Ale, Wheat, Vienna, Carapils, Carafa; hops – Challanger, Fuggles; roasted barley; oatmeal; yeast S-04; lactose; water.

Dark colour, nice head. Aroma is coffee and chocolate. Taste is chocolate and milk, very sweet. It’s ok, but the sweetness turned a little bit sickening by the end of the glass.

UPDATED: AUG 27, 2014 Kupione - Warszawa, butelka. Przyjemny, lekko palony, mleczno-kawowy aromat, ladny brunatny kolor, w smaku wyczuwalna laktoza i równiez przyjemne, delikatne nachmielenie. Dobry milk stout :)

A good milk stout! The lactose in noticeable throughout the beer: the aroma has a nice, sweet milkiness along with the dark maltiness, the taste has a hint of lactose in it, and best of all, the palate has that fullness that can only be found from milk. Overall a very enjoyable stout. Some might be put off by the milkiness, but I love milk.

Has a very pleasant aroma of coffee and this sweet note of milk, very small and delicate, but it’s present. It’s very dark, almost black, completely non-transparent, with not so big head. In taste there is a enjoyable bitterness, which is long and well balanced. The body on the other hand is tiny and watery. In the end, the last touch in aftertaste there is this sweetness which comes from lactose. Another great from AleBrowar.

Pite z kranu w Kontynuacji. Czarne. Fajna brązowa pijana. Prawie, że oleiste w konsystencji, czuć przyjemną kremowość. Dosyć pijalne mimo tego, że jest takie pełne w konsystencji.

Intensive coffee, roasted and milk chocolate aroma. Beige head disappearing to thin layer with nice lacing. Almost completely dark body. Very good taste of roasted malts, milk chocolate, caramel and bitterness. Well-balanced and very drinkable.

Tap. Muddy brown color. Hops, pine, spicy, faint coffee and slightly dirty aroma. Coffee, muddy, hoppy, beans in taste. Nice hoppy aftertaste. Nice brew!

Dry grainy aroma. Total bread and butter taste. This is breakfast! Dry burntness to the roast, a bit rye-ey. Nice dry old-hop bitterness - almost peppery late finish. Not a big fan of milk stouts generally, but this presses my buttons.

Sweet corny popped corns. Watery palate, thin. Not saying milk stout. Does have some elements of yesterdays, but ths is just watered down.
