COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Do not be fooled by the mates from the pub, the cow pies are not made in a pastry shop. If you are looking for more sweetness in your life, reach for a stout with a pinch of lactose. The milky and coffee flavors, in this dark beer, will soften even the toughest guys. The Sweet Cow is the first polish beer brewed in genuinely British style, which is milk stout. The name comes from the ingredients used in the process of production. To be more specific, it comes from the milky sugar, which is added at the stage of cooking the wort.
Malts – Pale Ale, Wheat, Vienna, Carapils, Carafa; hops – Challanger, Fuggles; roasted barley; oatmeal; yeast S-04; lactose; water.

"Słodka Krówka", jak pozwoliłem sobie przetłumaczyć nazwę milk stout’ a AleBrowaru to pierwszy milk stout z jakim miałem do czynienia, wówczas jeszcze będąc osobą nie zarejstrowaną na tym zacnym portalu. W zapachu potężna laktoza. I jeszcze raz laktoza w szkle. Piana średnia i drobnej strukturze. Opadając i koronkująca. W smaku czuć nieco kawy, ale mleczny wkład ma dużo do powiedzenia. Bardzo pijalne i ciekawe. Najbardziej milk ze wszystkich milk stoutów jakie dotąd piłem

Pours black with no head. Aroma of roasted malts and coffee. Emptiness in taste. A little bit of sweetness that is covered with sourness.

Quiet pleasant and drinkable, has an aroma typical for milk stout - sweet dark malts with hint of lactose - like a cappucino. The problem is that the whole beer could be at least a little bit more intensive, both the aroma and taste. In this bersion it can be perceived as a little bit watery althouh its still a wuiet good milk stout. Maybe if it was a 14 plato beer instead of 12 with the same abv it would be much better.

UPDATED: JUN 29, 2016 Aromat: kawowe, mleczna czekolada. Wyglad:ciemno brazowe, piana kiepska Smak: slodkie, lekko palone, leciutko kwaskowe goryczka niska. Odczucie w ustach: lekkie, troche wodniste, nisko wyscycone.

Sorry.

At Pułapka, Gdansk, two years ago. Dar brown to black, head diminishing rather quickly. Roasted barley, coffee, roast meat, rich and pleasant. Astringent like a fermented milk, astringency entering the nose, leaving dryness. Thick, yogurt-like, drinkable. Very interesting, leaves a pleasant lactose feeling.

Bottle @ home. Nice dark red glare coming through this brown colored beer with a full sized beige to very light brown colored head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is malts, a hint of candy strangely enough. Taste sweet malts, sweetish initially, an unexpected ashy earthy bitter finish. Hmm I’m not impressed. I had expected a much richer flavor. Both aroma and flavor are quite faint, a bit flat.

Bottle, 0.50l. Pours almost black with large soapy tan-like head and fair lacing. Aroma of grass, dust, roasted malt, coffee and lactose. Taste starts with moderate sweet roasted malt, coffee and chocolate, following is smooth milky and grassy, while finish is mild bitter. Light to medium body, creamy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Nice one, mooooooo on...
