Gravity pour at Beer Rebellion, Gipsy Hill, 08/06/14. Pours a dark amber. Aroma has some apple, grass and a little sourness. This appeared to be very close to the end of its life and I did mention this to the bar staff who tasted it and thought it was fine. Didn’t seem that way to me. Anyway... Tasted of green apple, lemon, some woodiness, hint of caramel and it was unpleasantly sour. Poor.

500ml bottle from Grumpy Goat, Reading. Clear mid brown with lasting light beige head. Aroma has citrus from the hops and also chocolate. Flavour reminds me of those chocolate lime sweets.

bottle from oddbins (bbe feb 2015). pours deep amber, puffy head. aroma is malt, rye, chocolate, a little whisky. taste is nicely bittersweet. medium body, slightly oily, lively but not too fizzy. bitterness lingers at the end. I approve of this ryePA trend.

Cask conditioned at Fleetwood Beer Fest ’14. Copper with white head. This was a dryish bitter with notes of boiled vegetable, cabbage and caramel. Lasting on the palate. Just a little odd here.
