Bottled. Ambery orange colour with a mediumsized off-white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet malts, some caramel, mild floral and grassy hops along with some citrus as well. Flavour is some rye, quite zesty along with some floral, grassy and wooden notes and also has a quite nice bready and somewhat sweet malty body to it. Mild toasted notes in the finish as well.

Bottle from Jacks, Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon. Consumed at home Sunday 26th October 2014. Gold edging towards light amber with white sheen for a head on top. A little curly hop links in with a slight minerally even metallic edginess. Some spiciness and a little light fruity twang. Enjoyable. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.4

Bottle.Bronze and clear with a small head. Slightly spicy with some subtle fruitiness. A nice beer as virtually everything I have tried from this brewery is.

Keg at Draft House. Dark brown, hazy, lightly sparkling, big dense foamy off-white head leaves even lacing. Aroma is very sweet toffee apple, touch of rose petal and pollen. Body is medium, smooth, low carbonation, not foamy. Taste is more sweet toffee apple, rye bread with honey, touch of resin, no bitterness or astringency to speak of. Too sweet to drink a lot of this, but nice in small amounts.

Bottle. Dark amber with a rocky off white head. Aromas are spicy with nutty notes and cookie dough. Flavours are dry, nutty black tea with mixed spices. Rye bread with some background apple. Dry on the finish. Good.
