[cask at the Stockbridge Tap, Edinburgh] Clear golden beer, lovely pressed white head – looks a corker. Aroma is some mango, passion fruit, and piney dry resin. Similar on the palate – quite dry and chalky on the finish. Great beer. Decidedly lethal at near 6% [27022013]

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 5/2/2013. Celar gold with a decent, frothy white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, gooseberries and hay. Flavour had more fruit, crisp malts and a decent dry finish. Enjoyable.

Cask @ Bow, Edinburgh [050213]
Golden amber, clear, thin white head, good lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit hops, light pale malts, plenty of fruity hops here. Taste of tropical citrus hops, nice sweet resinous hops, hint of grassy hops, background of sweet pale malts, slightly unusual note I can’t describe, nicely balanced. Palate - medium body, smooth texture. Finish - nice smooth resinous hop, not too bitter, lingering hint of grass
Overall - Good flavour here but had an unusual edge

Cask @ The Bow Bar. Rich golden amber colour, good head. Fruity resin aroma. Dry smokey biscuit flavour, citrus aftertaste. Nice one.

Keg at hanging bat. Golden with white head. Sharp musty cat piss aroma, some fruit but struggling to get past the musty piss smell. Taste is much nicer, quite sharp again but more fruity, grapefruit with some resinous qualities. Clean dry finish. Perhaps this would be better if mixed with other hops and used less in the aroma.

Cask by handpump at Halfway House, Edinburgh - golden amber, very slight haze, bubbly off-white head, grapefruit aroma and flavour, prolonged citrus aftertaste
