Cask at Holyrood 9a. It pours clear amber with a thick white head. The nose is soft, wood, resin, oily, citrus peel and banana bread. The taste is bitter, woody, oily hop, resinous, earth, brown bread and grapefruit with a lingering dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Plenty of earthy bitterness. Decent.

Floral start to the hops, then good marmalade, bitter and a little lemon. Touch of dried fruits. Light dry finish. Like a golden but with an edge.
