Cask conditioned at The Anchor, Digbeth, Birmingham. Copper colour with white head. A well balanced bitter, a fuller light malty, biscuity body with a sweetish fragrant hop. Long in flavour and palate, juicy and balanced. Lovely beer, much enjoyed.

Cask-conditioned at the Lower Red Lion, St Albans 7/7/07. Brown coloured with a moderate head. Had the hoppy aroma of most Ale House beers with a whiff of malt. Flavour was of grapefruit with a decent dry finish. Good, but this was nearing the end of the barrel and was a bit subdued.

Cask handpull at Lower Red Lion, St Albans. I fully endorse maeib’s rating This is amber with bubbly beige head. Good sharp pale grapefruit aroma. Rather amazing in the mouth. The hops on the finish are just stunning. OK so a better malt structure would be good, but this hoppy finish is almost startling.

Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Northampton BF. As I had thoroughly enjoyed the two Alehouse beers I had had previously at the fesival, I decided to sign off for this year with a third. This one didn’t disappoint. A mid brown coloured beer. The aroma is full of juicy hops. Orangey citrus aromas. The taste is also great hops. The malts are lovely too and really balanced the beer. Rock On Alehouse.
