Pours pitch black with very slight mahogany edges and a foamy tan head. Aroma consists of roasted chocolate malts, toffee, oatmeal and very roasty coffee. Flavor is similar to aroma with huge malty flavors, chocolate, oatmeal, toffee, coffee and a sweet, dry, roasted finish.

Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Northamptonshire BF. A dark brown beer with hints of black. A big chocolatey aroma with creamy and bitter chocolate in the mouth. A nice tasting beer which had warm chocolate poured into it by the brewer less than an hour before serving
