Cask at The Lower Red Lion St Albans 29 Sep 2006. Dark brown coloured. A small tanned head. Anonymous with a not-too-pleasant aftertaste.

Ah! The taste of my childhood. Can’t really remember if it was this beer I was drinking because I forgot to write the name down in my notes.... It was a Alehouse dark mild, so its got to be this one. Dark brown body, small cream head. Lots of Mild flavours: citrus fruit, tea, hint of spice. A good example of the style

Cask conditioned at The Lower Red Lion, St Albans, Herts. Black with a brown tinge, slight head. Od fruity sweet tea flavour is the initial impact, smooth with a tarry background, maybe too much flavour for a mild, but it does carry a reasonable beer.
