A Mes rate: Gravicask at St. Albans Beer Festival. Pale gold with a faint white rim. Smells of diacetyl ice cream. Tastes of watered down diacetyl ice cream. Shockingly bad.

Cask (gravity dispense), St Albans Beer Festival, September 2007. Green diacetyl more like.Something has gone seriously awry here but whether in the brewing or the conditioning I wouldn’t like to speculate. Not (quite) entirely undrinkable but not a pleasant experience. Straw colour.

Cask gravity at St Albans BF 2007. Gold colour with thin white head. Bad butter aroma. Popcorn. Terrible.
