Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, citrus, flowers, thistle. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fresh. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090418]

UPDATED: MAR 21, 2009 Cask-conditioned at the Mermaid, St Albans 12/03/09. Pale gold in colour with a moderate white head. Strong citrus hop aroma. Flavour had a touch of malt sweetness to accompany the lemony hops and long, bitter finish. An enjoyable beer.
