Cask-conditioned at the Lower Red Lion, St Albans 7/7/07. Pale gold with a decent white head which left plenty of lacing. Powerful hoppy aroma of grapefruit and pine. In the mouth this held its alcohol well with powerful hop flavours and a very long, dry finish. Excellent.

Copper with a short foamy head. Sweet, very orangey scent. Slight stickiness on the palate. Nicely bitter, not very sweet, so you wouldn’t know the percentage. Hoppy. Main tastes are oranges and lemons. Very good stuff.

Cask handpull at Lower Red Lion, St Albans. I think this was brewed fro a local drinker’s 60th birthday. Gold, lasting white head. Again, top quality grapefruit hop aroma. Reasonably thick in mouth, but never syrupy, great condition and then this spritzy hop finish is tongue tingling. Pretty damn good. Rich strawberry fruit. Carries strength well. Strawberry jam develops to a pippy strawberry/grapefruit finish.
