Cask (gravity dispense), St Albans Beer Festival, September 2007. The plethora of Alehouse specials at this festival were a bit of a mixed bag but this one certainly impressed. Golden colour with a thin white head but a nice lively condition. A profusion of fragrant, flowery hops dominate throughout. Very fresh and very tasty.

Cask @ St. Albans BF. Hazy gold with a thin white film. Hoppy aroma with lemon washing up liquid notes. Taste is the same, even has some soapyness in there. Bitter hop finish. My least favorite of the quite impressive Alehouse brews at the fest.

A Mes rate: Gravicask at St. Albans Beer Festival. Golden colour, very slight haze with a oily film on top. Hoppy and citric with heavy lemon. Lovely hoppy finish. Solid stuff from a decent brewery.

Cask gravity at St Albans BF 2007. Hazy gold, no head. Decent citrus aroma. Not in great condition as sat on table for about an hour. But stinging lasting hop on end is stunning. Fairly light in mouth. Good.
