Cask handpull at Wenlock Arms. Black with lasting dark beige head. A fitting tribute to Michael Jackson? Well it has a good bready stouty aroma. Some good burnt roasted grain. Very tasty. Even whiskyish. Finish is really quite dry and stinging. Nice dark beer.

Cask (at the Wenlock Arms): Literally black, small persistent fluffy to rocky sandy head, moderate roast-malty and fruity (dark berries) nose, ashes and molecular traces of port in the faraway background; soloid mainly dry bitter flavour, rather light bodied; moderate fruity-roastmalty finish. A pleasant one.......
