Commercial Description:
Bright copper color, sparkling clarity, and good foam retention when properly served. Appealing Brussels lace. Deep toasty/caramelly malt balanced by spicy/fruity hop flavors accented by fruit esters resulting from fermentation with a championship yeast strain. The aroma is subtle and reflects the flavor with malt, hop and fruit (ester)/fermentation characteristics. Smooth, medium-bodied. Easy drinking with no harsh or astringent sensations.

Bottle from easy E! Poured aggresive....big head. Orange in color. Grassy aroma. Taste is kind of complex. Toasty, fruity, little spices, still grasy hops. Average texture and carbonation. Nice beer. Thanks Spark!

22oz bottle. Dark amber pour with a very clingy white head. Very nice malty aroma. Very smooth, nice malt flavor, a little nuttiness as well, good beer.

Bottle at Holiday Alesmith tasting. Sweet nose. Nice strong amber color with a light fluffy head. As the beer settled the head became thick and creamy. Taste was malty and sweet. Hints of pineapple came out.

Clear orange-red pour with a thin white head. Lots of carbonation and nice lacing on the glass. Tropical fruity aroma - mango, pineapple. I had this on draft a the brewery. Not quite as good as the sample I had there. Similar flavor...Tropical fruits with roasty malt backbone. Dry and fruity. Smooth and easy to drink. Some hops to finish. Good session beer.

Tasting at Brewtopia festival. Amber/copper pour wtih a fluffy head. Some good lacing with this one. Aroma is malty with hints of caramel leading way to some floral hops. Flavorwise this was one of my least favorite Alesmith productions to date...but it is still pretty good. Flavor has some caramel, toffe, and floral hops.

This poured a copper-brown with a fat tan head and very rich lacing. The mouthfeel is very rich and slick, and it goes down very smoothly. Nose is of malts and some pine hops. Very well balanced brew. Flavor is not complex but enjoyable. The most remarkable thing about this beer is how drinkable it is. It gets even better as it warms up. Don’t drink this one too cold.

Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, moderate hoppy, orange. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (050908)
