Bottle 0,66 CL @ William K. Pours murky brown sit down whitish mushroom like head. Notes of malts, bread, mämmi, toffee, caramel, fruity, ester, milk chocolate. Easy drinkable. Too mild body tho.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tap. Pours clear deep amber, small creamy tan head, nice lacing. Aroma is bready, seven up. Flavor is odd, lots of black teas, root beer? Light sweet, light bitter. Lightish body. Not getting the fascination.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Lots of caramel sweetness in aroma and flavor. Murky mahogany and a really thin mouthfeel. Not a fan of this style much so I’ll rate accordingly.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This good looking beer has a beautiful amber color and pours with a thick creamy head. It has a mild aroma. It has a really nice smokey malt flavor and is easy to sip. Paired nicely with a creamy herb cheese and toast.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Heard lots of good things, but ultimately I was rather let down by this beer. Somewhat soapy taste with none of the deeper roasts, caramels being at the forefront. I was hoping for a more, full bodied affair.

Bottle at Beer Hunters.
Clear ruby color, good beige head. Aroma has spiceyness and berries. Medium-bodied, lots of carbonation. Berries, wood, nuts in the flavor. Not the most traditional Esb. Perharps not so fresh.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
2014 bottle to a tulip glass. Pours a brilliant, crystal clear dark copper/amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is malty and bready with a touch of candied dark fruit and a bit of grassy hops. Taste is big toasty malt flavor with a roasty bitterness at the end. The grassy hops flavor builds on the tongue as you drink but is minimal. A thin-medium, slightly slick, mouthfeel.

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from bottle.
Pour - Pours amber red with a thick foamy head.
Aroma - roasted caramel malt, touch of hops, very subtle aroma.
Taste - Bitterness immediately hits first followed by very pronounced malt flavor with caramel and raisins buried in the malt taste. Kind of reminds me of raisin bread.
Palate - Slick mouthfeel with barely any fizz. Light bodied.
I really liked this beer. Big fan of how malty this is and how the bitterness does not overpower the rest of the brew. Definitely a good, sipper while unwinding after work.
