Pours a transparent amber brown with a frothy, creamy white head. Malty, bready aroma with some mild piney citrus. Flavor is heavy on the malt, caramel, some sticky fruits with a grapefruit hop kick. Sessionable. fata2683 (837), Panama City, Florida, USA Jul 23, 2009 bottle, pours light amber, tall frothy tan head. Lightly hoppy aroma. Light carmel malt flavor some twangy peach and a nice hop bite in a dry finish. Nice and easy. leninthedesert (112), Nevada, USA Jul 15, 2009 A great offering from AleSmith - I take a couple of bottles of this home every time I visit Socal. I’m always amazed at the balance of malt to hops, and the incredible clarity of this beer. The quality of the ingredients relly comes through as with all AleSmith beers. Fruity and hop aromas. Poured lively with a large white head. Amber coloured fruity and slightly earthy flavoured with a bitter dry finish. hallinghansen (263), Odense SV, Denmark Jul 13, 2009 Bottle. Hazy redish/brownish body, with a medium light brown head. Aroma is barley, caramel, malt and nuts. Flavor is hops yeast and malt. It´s a bit dry, and I get some iron in the aftertaste. Gypsy19 (603), California, USA Jul 8, 2009 Pours a deep ruby, very sparkling when held up to light, with a small tan head. Aroma has a lot of caramel and malt, a little dark fruit too. Sweeter aroma than expected. Pretty full flavor; I can see why this is near the top of its class; Nice thick, sticky malts, with just the right amount of hop bitterness. Very creamy flavor/finish. Nutty to boot. Palate is full, hearty. I can dig it. Overall, very good minus. douglas88 (1557), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Jul 7, 2009 22oz bomber picked up somewhere in California by Eric, thanks man. Pours a deep brown/red color with hone hell of a powerful beige head. The aroma is strong orange/fruity hops, light malts as well. The flavor is similarly dominated by a powerful citrus.orange hop flavor. Light caramel sweetness and rich malts. A great mouthfeel. Overall, the quality I expect- and always get- from AleSmith.
