COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bright copper color, sparkling clarity, and good foam retention when properly served. Appealing Brussels lace. Deep toasty/caramelly malt balanced by spicy/fruity hop flavors accented by fruit esters resulting from fermentation with a championship yeast strain. The aroma is subtle and reflects the flavor with malt, hop and fruit (ester)/fermentation characteristics. Smooth, medium-bodied. Easy drinking with no harsh or astringent sensations.

Pours a copper color with a thin head to it. Has a nice caramel smell to it. Taste is mainly caramel with a slight bitterness to it.

Bottle. Pours garnet-brown with off-white head. Aroma is very rich - fruity, mild berry notes, some nuttiness in the background. Round malt flavor - textured grains, caramelized sugars, light toasted barley - followed by mild bitterness and very light herbal/piney hops. Unbeatable palate and very clean. A good ale on the darker side, definitely reminiscent of the better English ESBs.

dark reddish brown, dark for the style, large white head. rich malt and slight floral hop to the nose. moderate bitterness followed by a lot of rich low crystal malt, possibly even a little chocolate malt in there before a lot of fruity esters from the yeast that are nice. a fair amount of residual sweetness. a tasty brew, but somewhat unusual for the style, a bit too sweet and with too little hop character

Bomber served in an English pint. Pours amber-brown with a slight haze and a good-sized beige head. Aroma is mellow chocolate and caramel malt, a touch of fruit, and a spice and hop kick. The slightly bittersweet flavor and creamy texture is classic English-style bitter. Medium body and smooth finish. Excellent malt components in this easy-drinking brew.

22oz bottle. thanks to ken for the extra....pours a semi-transparent dark tea-like brown with a medium creamy light beige head.... aroma of grassy herbalness pervades with some accompanying light fruit notes... flavors have some caramel toasted malt to coincide with some earthy light herbal bitterness. semi-sweet overall without any lingering bitterness. smooth easy drinking. almost more of a lightly hopped brown ale to me.

Deep red in color, clear with a small white head which gathers around the edges. Toasted malt. caramel, herb-like and fruity hops. The palate is light-medium in body, flat carbonation with a soft finish. The taste is sweet with caramel malt and light fruit and finishes with a subtle tea-like leafy bitterness. Enjoyable with lots of character.

Pours a dark ruby red with a big frothy tan head. Not much of a nose on this one besides some caramel malts. Sweet, very malty with a bitter finish. Disappointing, but still drinkable.
