COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Anvil ESB is our interpretation of a traditional British-style pub ale. Deep amber in color, a toasty character from British malts and a touch of kettle caramelization blend seamlessly with a mild English hop profile. Its delicate balance of flavors will keep you coming back pint after pint, making it a complex creation we’re proud to call our flagship beer.

Bottled, thanks to caesar. Reddish colored, medium head. Very fruity nose, hops, some malts. Impressive fruity flavor, malts, toffee, quite complex. Relatively thick mouthfeel. Bittersweet finish. I am very much impressed, this is an excellent beer that is very suitable for drinking many in a row. One of the best ESBs i’ve ever had, good job!

Pours bronze/brown with an off white head. The aroma has toasty malt, English yeast, dry crackers and some bright hop notes. It had a medium body with restrained carbonation. The taste starts with mild toasted malt, English fruitiness, mild earthy yeast, nuts and bread. The finish is short and clean. Excellent ESB.
