RATINGS: 7 MEAN: 3.97/5.0 WEIGHTED AVG: 3.74 EST. CALORIES: 195 ABV: 6.5%
COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION Blarney Stoned is a smooth brown ale with an accent on complex malt flavors. The 6.5% alcohol is deceptive and there is a slight spiciness in the finish. The recipe and process may sound exotic, but the flavor is enticing. Appearance: Chestnut brown, with a tan head. Aroma: The aroma starts with the sweet smell of malt, and a light balance of hops. Flavor: Starts with a little spiciness, but gently fades to a soft, malty flavor with almost nutty overtones. A nice, balanced medium-dry finish leaves you wanting more. Mouthfeel (body/texture): Feels light and lively at first, then gently fades to a gentle warmth from the relatively high alcohol content.
