The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of over ripe fruits as well as lesser notes of spices. Thanks Papsoe for sharing. omhper (10731), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 24, 2008 Bottled. Dark mahogany colour, creamy head. Aroma of burnt caramel. Sweet and full bodied with velvetty softness. Roasty and very malty with spun sugar and lots of toffee. Warming and vast in character. Papsoe (10580), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 1, 2007 (Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of boboski. Pours a slightly hazy, orangey brown with a dense, light brown head leaving some lacework. Fat aroma of overripe fruit and hops. Surprisingly this isn’t overly full-bodied. Intense aromas of raisins and overripe fruit and then classical accents of American aroma hops in the finish. Good but not outstanding. 280907 yespr (6943), Copenhagen O, Denmark Oct 5, 2007 75 cL bottle, thanks to Papsoe. Pours hazy red with a lacing white head. Dried raisin aroma.
