COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a re-creation of the original 2005 decadence old ale. this follows the tradition of class British-style Old Ales. This rich, malt-forward ale showcases soft notes of currants and dried fruit along with complex dark sugars, all of which are balanced by a subtle bitterness derived from the addition of traditional English hops.

Olde Ale alesmith 75cl bottle. Pours a reddish, dark amber with a small, off white head. Aroma is very malty with typical, but strong english ale and caramel malts. Lots of nutty, caramel, dates, figs. Hazel, dry walnut and some banana and coconut. Taste has some of that slight fig sweetness, but is overall not very sweet. Lots of more dry, ale malty, nutty stuff. As it heats up it gets more of the caramel sweet notes. some hoppy bitterness as well. Full body and actually a medium high carbonation.
