Ty5592 (1007), Hatfield, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 3, 2007 Growler from WeeHeavySD. Dark rudy color with light tan/amber head.Wonderful aroma of Fruity citrus hops and toasted chocolate malt. The taste was like the aroma with prickley piney hop finish. Nice balance and light sweetness throughout. The finish was watery but in a good way. Never thout I’d ever say that. Glad I finely got a chance to try this brew. Thanks!!

Dark red/brown with a 1 finger off white head. Smell is sweet candy sugar, medium piney hops and a slight subdued caramel. Taste starts with a sweet caramel note then the hops jump out. Nice mellow pine hops that really stand out. Would love to know what hop this is. Mouthfeel is creamy with a dry finish at the end. Jmichael (532), Asheville, North Carolina, USA Dec 18, 2007 pours a flat dark amber brown. sweet malty sweet sugar, light and smooth, not too heavy. dry finish. sweet and malty with a low complexity to it, good. dalekliz (151), San Diego, California, USA Dec 5, 2007 Growler from the brewery. Deep red-brown color, with a good-sized light head. Complex flavors of hops, malt, and citrus. Taste fades away smoothly, changing into a bit of a sharp bite at the end. Very nice ale. wetherel (976), Carlsbad, California, USA Nov 21, 2007 On tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Very red dark amber color. 1 finger creamy head. Well balanced sweetness and hops. Nice hop flavor with low hop bitterness. Decent session ale. ajm (304), USA Nov 11, 2007 No Killian’s, for sure! My simple mind classifies this as somewhat sweeter than the AleSmith IPA, with a little added dry coffee finish. An absolute joy on tap.
