Halloween is time for our annual Evil Dead Red specialty brew. Vivid mahogany color, good head formation and retention. Rich, chewy, toasty, malty flavors perfectly balanced by a moderate hoppy bitterness. The aroma starts with a pleasant hop aroma followed by a nice malty sweetness. Well-rounded and well-balanced. Smooth, medium-bodied. Lush and rich on the palate with a semi-dry finish

nearly clear copper pour with a 1 finger, oily yellow cake head. Aroma is loaded with caramel and toffee, with some nice, pine, citrus and spicy hops and a little toast and biscuit. Flavor is again full of caramel and toffee, some nice toasty notes, light roast nuts, lots of sweet pine, some grapefruit and spicy hops coming in toward the finish along with some interesting berry- like fruity esters and a nice, lingering earthy, toasty grain note that really sells it as a proper autumn seasonal beer. Medium body, slightly syrupy entry, off dry finish, lingering dryness, medium, sharp and lively carbonation. Really pretty fantastic stuff very well put together, but maybe a bit too boozy and astringent.

22oz. Bottle. Pours a dark amber with a nice tan head. Smells of malty, roasted, hoppy goodness. An excellent amber ale, one of the best I have had. Defibetley a must have if you like ambers or just beer in general.

A very well made red that unfortunately only comes around during Halloween. Get it while you can.

Hops in the air as soon as you open the bottle. Perfect deep red. Piney, Danky earthy hops on the nose. More sticky pine hops and a touch of malt on the palate. Almost perfect for the style

"Finally not a draft only, to my benefit. Über fresh balanced malty caramel and spice and citrus hop goodness. Even slightly nutty. Very nice hoppy red - one of the best out there."
