Grand Cru is a dark chestnut-colored Belgian-style Ale with vibrant fermentation aromas of fruity esters and spicy phenols. A sweet caramel malt, raisin, and plum-like character combines with the complex fermentation profile of our Belgian yeast strain and hints of bittersweet chocolate in the finish. Its full body and velvety mouthfeel make for a slow and satisfying drinking experience. Grand Cru is meant to be savored and will age nicely.

Aroma of vanilla with a hint of tart/vinegar. Clear brown/amber with little head and no lacing to speak of. Taste is vanilla, malt, raisins, maybe some tropical notes from the belgian yeast. Palate is thin, high alcohol. Great beer, very unique.

Backlog rating. Keg at BD Shoreditch, London. It pours a dark copper color with a medium tan head. Aroma is sweet and lightly boozy. Light roasted notes, dark fruits, caramel, prunes, dates and toffee. Taste has more roasted malts, cocoa, toffee, dark fruits and burnt sugar. Medium to full bodied with good carbonation. Overall, bold
