COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Horny Devil is our interpretation of a Belgian-style Golden Ale. Brewed with authentic Belgian ingredients including candi sugar and a Trappist yeast strain, its fruity and spicy aromas include notes of orange, banana, and peppercorns. Coriander seeds add refreshing citrus notes which meld seamlessly with the beer’s delicate malt. Horny Devil finishes with a lively carbonation and a refreshingly dry finish.

Spicy aroma of clove lemon and slight banana peel. Flavor of coriander and dried apricot. Really not cell carbonated prickly. Not my fav style but this one is great.

Banana and clove and creme brûlée. Spices on the palate are coriander, black pepper and anise. Medium finish is drying. Yeast is identifiably Belgian and very aromatic, especially upon pouring.

Bottle share at Evernote in Redwood City, CA. A bright, fruity, spicy summer relish for your favorite sausage. Second only to the Black Force One in this particular tasting, if I had to rank them (and I do).

Brought up from Buffalo by my lovely sister-in-law to be consumed most unpartrotically at the cottage on Canada day. (Belgian-style American beer in Canada. Multi-culturalism check.) Classic Belgian tripel with extra head. Hay-malty nose with syrup citrus and a touch of booze. First taste is great rich sundrenched hay, yeasty breadiness, tangerine and citrus, a little booze pushiness, and a overall sweetness. And that sweetness builds, and builds as the bottom of the bottle rises toward the surface. And that is the shortcoming for me - too sweet. If the beer was a little drier it would be getting a 4ish like you see above and below my rating. Ah well.

On tap at the Lab Gastropub, LA. Hazy golden color with small white head. Belgian aroma, spicy yeasts, citrus, a bit grains behind it. Taste is with a heavy booze kick, a bit peppery, lemongeass, aromatic, esthery awesome fine-bubbled carbonation. Alesmith never disappoints!

Cerveja de coloração dourada, aroma frutado de banana, laranja. Notas cítricas ao beber e final refrescante seco e quente. Notas apimentadas no retrogosto. Uma das melhores, sensacional. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
