COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Horny Devil is our interpretation of a Belgian-style Golden Ale. Brewed with authentic Belgian ingredients including candi sugar and a Trappist yeast strain, its fruity and spicy aromas include notes of orange, banana, and peppercorns. Coriander seeds add refreshing citrus notes which meld seamlessly with the beer’s delicate malt. Horny Devil finishes with a lively carbonation and a refreshingly dry finish.

750 ml Bottle. Appearance is a cloudy golden lemon color with a half-inch of fizz and foam. Lots of Belgian yeast and coriander in the aroma along with some honey, malt and pear. The taste is similar with a strong emphasis on Belgian yeast, toasted bready malt and candi sugar flavors upfront. Toward the middle there’s some peach, orange peel and clove before the coriander takes over in the finish. Mouthfeel is thick and well-carbonated while the 11% ABV is barely noticeable. Overall, an enjoyable Tripel/Belgian Strong Ale hybrid with a nice kick to it.

Small head that disapears quickly. Brownish orange color. Apple, banana and yeast on the nose. Taste is medium sweet, lightly sour and some bitternes in the end. Refreshing to be 10% ABV.

Lively, clear golden beer with a decent white head. Sweet, floral aroma. A bit of lime in there. Flavour is sweet and fruity and that light citrus is present again. Flavour-wise it’s not really anything special but the balance is great.

Keg, Brewdog, Leicester. Golden with a white foam. Aromas are banana and yeast with earthy apple. Funky with peppery alcohol and floral notes. Seawater with minerals and mixed spices. Base caramel with lemon cheesecake. Flavours are stewed apple with caramel and banana. Lemon with peach stone and cereal grain. Worry numbing alcohol with peppery coriander and a toasted finish. Very good.

Pours a cloudy dark yellow with an average size white head. Aroma of yeast, fruit, alcohol, pepper and other spices. Flavour follows the aroma and is well-balanced -- it’s not overly sweet. Taste has strong alcohol notes and a smooth finish.

Clear golden yellow pour with a slight head. On draft at The Lab near USC. Slight belgian spiced nose. Fruity and spicy taste with a nice amount of spice and phenolics in the finish. Nice but certainly not worth $11 for a 10oz pour...

750ml bottle shared @Mad For Beer (Rome) with ippopotamo36. Deep, unclear amber color with a decent off-white foam. Aroma is caramel, toffee, honey, brown sugar, no traces of hops. Flavour is powerful but unbalanced and a bit boring, very sweet, honey, toffee, caramel, some yellow fruits in the end. Medium to full body, low carbonation. So so...
