Holy sh.......... Damn this was good. Deep caramel in color and had a small, bubbly white head. Ridunculous lacing. Sweet candied sugar aroma, notes of piney hops and citrus. This smell penetrates the inner-workings of the olfactory system and holds it hostage. Very good mouth feel, smooth and perfectly carbonated. Grassy, flowery, sweet citrus taste that is all balanced and melded together remarkably. This brew rocked.

I got a bottle from CBKSCHUBERT and I have one thing to say about this, it is the best IPA Iíve ever had, hands down. Loaded with grapefruity goodness and just the proper amount of bitterness this beer pleases IPA lovers and people who canít really handle the intense bitterness an IPA can put out.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured a nice golden color into a pint glass. Smelled nice, but not as aggressive as some. Taste is hints of citrus, lemon, pine, with some nice balancing malt. This beer is quite drinkable and very balanced. Not as sharp or powerful as a lot of other IPAís, but expertly crafted. Comes together great.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Bevmo in Solana Beach, CA. Pours a amber brown with a very nice beige head. Smells of spicy hops and sweet malt. Taste is over pine, grapefruit, and resin with a nice caramel sweet malt backing. This beer has so many subtleties that it is hard to describe it all. But Iíll say this.. you see everyone saying this is a great beer and the best of the IPAs... well, it is. It is definitely one the best out there and deserving of a great rating. If you have a chance to have this beer, donít pass it up. Also had this on draft at the Stone World Bistro and Gardens, but didnít rate it at that time.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours lightly hazy copper with a large light tan head. The aroma is a citrus hop bomb with lost of grapefruit, some orange and pine needles. There is also some sweet toasted malt in the background. Medium smooth body with prickly carbonation and oily resin that lingers around. The flavor starts with pine, woody, earthy hops and a minor amount of grapefruit. The finish is highly resiny with pine needles and very sweet bubblegum style malt. The malt is mostly muted by the thick malts. A very nice IPA.

Amber golden with a huge, nice and creamy head and a wonderfully hoppy aroma with loads of citrus and resin. The flavour is hoppy, really hoppy with a nice and powerful bitterness with loads of citrus, resin, grass and some caramel. Itís very harmonic and a real pleasure for any hop-head - yummi - thank you After4ever/Tom for this gem!! 2473
