Ober (1165), Bommelerwaard, Netherlands Apr 16, 2009 At the tasting session by Joes. A clear orange colored beer, with thick foamy white head. The aroma of a lot of hops, a little grassy and fruits like citrus. The taste of hops bitter, malts, fruits like citrus, grapes. A little alcohol. The aftertaste is bitter. caesar (3020), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands Apr 16, 2009 Bottled. Hazy amber color, short head. Aroma of soft fruity hops, some caramel malt only. Nice bitter taste, some grapefruit and pineapple. Perfectly balanced. Great stuff. trevor211 (500), Seattle, Washington, USA Apr 16, 2009 Bomber - big thanks to MrChopin for the bottle! Pours a bright orange, with a small-to-mid size fluffy head. Powerful citrus hops in the aroma - mandarin and grapefruit, with a touch of honey and an almost bubble-gum sweetness for the malt side of things. This is one smooth brew, given the bitterness of the flavor. Big resiny pine notes and a slightly stronger malt contingent. Full-bodied, but still very, very crisp. Dry, bitter finish. Really good stuff - but proves to me that I’ve been jaded by palate bombs - it’s just not the same as a IIPA. altehkiller (71), , California, USA Apr 15, 2009 Updated: Jun 8, 2009best. ipa. ever. so much flavor is packed into this beer while at the same time being smooth. looks orange-copper in color and smells of pine and citrus. absolutely delicious! mcmd (132), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Apr 13, 2009 Pours a yellowish golden orange with a sudsy white head which thins quickly. Aroma is grapefruit, honey, and floral hops. Flavor is honey, grapefruit, resiny hops. Nice and smooth at the finish, perfect bitterness. Similar to hopslam with a touch less sweetness. Nice IPA Bullit (1300), Glasgow, Scotland Apr 12, 2009 Bottle @ Skortila. Hazy amber colour, white lacing. Aroma is fruity, sweet hops, with orange. Flavour is pineapple, bitter hops and fruits. Bitter and dry finish. Amazing IPA. dmschefke (371), Eastpointe, Michigan, USA Apr 11, 2009 Pours an orange gold with a medium white head. Citrus hops straight to the nose, hints of pine, oranges, and caramel. First few sips were wonderful, but I found it increasingly harder to drink as the glass emptied. Overall a nice beer, but I think 12oz would be enough. 184601 (143), Mexicali, Mexico Apr 9, 2009 Quite good overall purchased at Bevmo San Diego the one near Fashion Valley, pretty good some orange notes, the hops are very remiscent of Sierra Nevada PA,nice full flavor, but also really drinkable which its what surprised me, great aroma : citrusy, plumish hoppy floral-like,great!!!!
