2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20 Gription79 (1576) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - APR 12, 2013
Had on draft at two separate locations, one of them being the brewery. Noted caramel/crystal malts, floral, citrusy, and diacetyl. The diacetyl ruined this beer, the hop character was slight at best. I was looking forward to this since it is not available in my area. I will have to try it again when I get a chance.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 50belair (1329) - Florida, USA - APR 10, 2013
Bottle. Clear dark yellow pour with a big white head. Fantastic pine and citrus aromas. Great body, mouthfeel, and balance. This ale captures the Cali take on an IPA. Great pine and citrusy hop notes that give way to a sweet caramel malt finish. I would really like to revisit this on tap in SoCal..
4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20 kaser (1005) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 10, 2013
Poured from a 22oz bottle that I found online at Bine n Vine courtesy of ratebeer.com! This deserves the ratings it gets - I definately would put this up next to any of my other favorite IPA’s. Clear, orange pour with medium foamy white head. Delicious citrus, fruity, flora, piney, taste, and aroma is about the same. Perfect amount of hops. Can’t really say anything other than this is about perfect overall.

Drank this from a bottle while eating In and out burger. Huge pine, resin, citrus hop aroma with the same bitter taste. Nice west coast style IPA.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 tdmuel (80) - South Carolina, USA - MAR 30, 2013
Pours a slightly hazy burnt copper/gold with a bubbly white head. Lots of piney/floral hop bitterness and that fresh cut grass smell, some mango/peach notes, some lemon and a little bit of a breadiness. On the taste, there’s a strong piney and grapefruity hop bitterness up front, some lemon and citrusy notes, some malt, little bit of orange. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. Delicious, well balanced IPA with a great piney bitterness.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 DocJitsu (305) - California, USA - MAR 30, 2013
Pours a clear, pale golden color with a soapy antique white head. The head is rather stubborn, which contributes to the sustained attractiveness of the beer. Sticky suds lace the glass as the beer is being drunk. The bouquet consists of pine, grass and lemon zest, with occasional notes of burning peat. It has a soft, wet mouthfeel that yields to a gentle carbonation scrub. A lot of pine flavor from start to finish. Less prominent grapefruit flavor, but the bitterness unique to grapefruit is present. It is well-balanced by the grain, and, thankfully, not overpowered by it. The pleasant mouthfeel rounds out the experience. Nothing to get terribly excited about, but a good IPA.
4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 Bretteux (109) - Ste-Julie, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 29, 2013
