COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s Pretty Awesome. A San Diego classic, AleSmith IPA showcases the versatility of American hops. Aromas of grapefruit and tangerine lead into an abundance of fresh pine and tropical fruit notes followed by a crisp, resinous bitterness. The complex hop profile is supported by a firm malt presence to create an incredibly flavorful and well-balanced IPA.

Great taste, even greater smell. Really complex but easy and interesting to drink. You don’t want to drink it fast because it’s so complex.

Damn fine straight forward IPA. Citrus, pine, and floral hops get ya up front and take you through a nice smooth ride of deliciousness.

Bottle - old gold colour with nice frothy white head prone to lacing. Big aroma of citrus hops, pine, fruit. Same in the taste, plus good malty backbone, some caramel, nice oily, medium mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. Excellent IPA

Excellent floral hop aroma, dry and resinsy. Quite dry and flavorful and light bodied. Clear golden in color with decent white head. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber bought at Pizza Press. I just shot a load into my paper underwear after the aroma was unleashed by tearing away the cap from its previous mate. Huge aroma. tropical, mango, pineapple, orange, pine and mint, caramel. The pour was also fantastic leaving behind a sizeable off white cap that hung around for quite a while. Big flavours of pine, sweet orange, caramel, berries, rrgf and yea - the cherries on the finish in the description. Bonus for the subdued finish and it being notably different than the majority of the flavourful qualities. Very dry finish. As this warmed the flavour variation became a blur and it subdued itself into almost a single entity and joined the legions of similar high end ipa’s. Still had a piny bitter finish. This sure beat doing anything else tonight. Goes great with Strung Out.

Smells hoppy with both citrus and pine hops and a good amount of sweet malt but not too much. The hops are still the star in the aroma. Appearance is a hazy orange color with a pillowy white head of foam. Good amount of lacing. The taste is absolutely spot on. Reminiscent of Bell’s Two Hearted Ale but with a slightly stronger malt backbone. Hoppy but not ridiculously so. Has a spice note in the background which I enjoyed. Good, but not the #1 IPA in the world. Hate to disagree with RB on this one, but I’ve had better.

Spectacular IPa. This one is well balanced and very tasty. Not too much of anything. Enjoy!
