treadyroc (112), St. Leonard, Maryland, USA Sep 27, 2007 Thanks to Liquorama for still delivering this to Maryland for me. Lord only knows when I’d have had the chance to try it otherwise.
A very light, dry IPA that finishes very clean. Bitterness at the end is very rounded & complementary. Floral hoppy aroma from the start hints at the complex flavor of this excellent beer. cmr1517 (35), New Haven, Indiana, USA Sep 14, 2007 Alesmith must know my tastebuds because everything I have tasted has been excellent! Perfect smell floral hops and guess what it also taste perfect with appropiate amount of bitterness. Great beer. GG (1612), NorCal, California, USA Sep 14, 2007 This beer made me sad. Sad that even though I live in California, I don’t have access to it in Northern California. I had to make a SoCal trip to get it. If I had access to it, I would have this stocked at my house 24/7. This is a beer that is just simply stunning from start to finnish. Aroma is perfectly balanced with big bready sweet malts, and juicy citrusy hops. Smelling this beer just made my mouth water. This beer was just insanely tasty. Once the beer hit my tastebuds it was over. I’m used to solid WC IPA’s but this was clearly a breed apart. It’s citrusy hop blast is counterbalanced with the malts in a way that is something to appreciate. You start getting all kinds of different flavors...passion fruit, grapefruit, tart apples, papayas. Excellent beer. Highly recommended. stefanje (937), (Santee) San Diego, California, USA Sep 13, 2007 650ml Bottle from Bevmo. This is rating #100. Pours a a deep rich, slightly cloudy, copper color with a big off-white sudsy head. Plenty of lacing and long retention in the head. Aroma is very strong and is dominated by grapefruit, lemons, sugar cane and hops. Flavor was a bit subtle and subdued compared to many IPA’s that I’ve sampled. The taste experience starts with dry hazelnuts and walnuts in the forefront, oranges, pine and grapefruit fill in the edges, and biter hops and clean malts bring up the rear. Mouthfeel was robust, full and creamy, carbonation was ample and prickly. The finish was long with biter hops and sweet malts. Overall: every sip left me wanting another bigger sip, needless to say this beer went down fast. This is one truly great IPA. jsh12bama (335), Alabama, USA Sep 7, 2007 Bottle courtesy of bonus per KingG. One of the better IPA’s that had more of a IIPA feel to it. Lots of citrus and pines to it. Will try to get more of this one. patrick767 (2016), fort wayne, Indiana, USA Sep 3, 2007 bottle shared by bdigi66 - Pours copper with a lingering head. It has a nice citrus hop aroma. There’s really good hop flavor with citrus and pine notes and enough malt to balance it. Medium bodied, crisp hops finish... this is an excellent brew. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Updated: Jan 17, 2009

bdigital (585), Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA Aug 31, 2007 Holy sh.......... Damn this was good. Deep caramel in color and had a small, bubbly white head. Ridunculous lacing. Sweet candied sugar aroma, notes of piney hops and citrus. This smell penetrates the inner-workings of the olfactory system and holds it hostage. Very good mouth feel, smooth and perfectly carbonated. Grassy, flowery, sweet citrus taste that is all balanced and melded together remarkably. This brew rocked.
