Jul 14, 2007 Tried at the brewery, while buying some Decadence. Nice hoppy aroma. Mild carbonation from draft. Burnt yellow color. Grassy nose and taste. Veery drinkable.

Jul 13, 2007 Bottle. Pours a murky amber color with lots of floating sediment and a thick off-white head. Aroma is hoppy with a strong pine nose to it. Flavor is nice and hoppy, with hints of grapefruit and a bitter pine finish to it. Another top-notch offering from Alesmith.

Jul 11, 2007 i am so mad this was the first bottle of "bad" beer i’ve gotten, the conditioning must have gone awry because there was no carbonation, so the beer ended up being horribly unbalance without any bubbles, i’ll judge how i can though, and how i’d imagine it taste

Jul 11, 2007 I think I want to try another bottle of this, in hopes the one I had was "aged" or not stored properly. It was too fluffy for me, I felt like I was drinking a marshmellow. Note: not a marshmellow beer, but actually like a melted overly sweet cloying a little marshmellow. Anyway, pour was goldenish. Nose was mild hops with a fair share of malt as well. Taste was barely IPA at all, just the fore mentioned marshmellow. Now dont get me wrong, I like marshmellow, just not in my ipa.

Jul 10, 2007 Mmmm i need an air freshner that smells like this. Tasty times, other then when i popped the top that bottle damn near exploded brew all over, never fear, i shotgunned most of it before it hit the floor. Lots of hops, much like many other IPA’s before this. Im a big fan, but have come to the conclusion that i will not find an IPA as good as Furious, but i am bias a weeee bit as well. SITTM came real close though....

Jul 10, 2007 Wow this is amazing IPA. Beautiful amount of hops that memorize your pallet. I love the Stone IPA, but this is better! I recommend draft if you have the option. One of the best IPA’s I have ever had. Delicious.

Jul 7, 2007 Sampled at csbosox’s tasting 7/3. Pours a hazy amber/orange with a creamy off-white head. The nose is big grapefruit and a faint pine. I began salivating like Pavlov’s dog when the aroma hit me. Medium-bodied, creamy, smooth and clean with a lightly bitter finish. Grapefruit, pine and resiny hops with a nice malt backing. This beer is way to easy to drink for 7.25% & if they ever start selling it in KS or MO, we’ll be spending a whole lot of time together. (If you want a more flowery and amusing review, read MrRain’s. I agree w/everything he says, except perhaps the "urine of a dehydrated man" part. That score’s a 5 on appearance, huh?)
