4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: JUL 3, 2013 22 oz bottle. Pours light orangish amber with very thick fluffy head. Aroma is fresh juicy grapefruit hops. Hints of sweetness and pine. Taste is smooth creamy mild caramel malt with those sweet citrusy hops on the finish. Incredibly restrained bitterness, almost separate from the hops, but comes on at the finish and lingers well. Easily among the smoothest, best balanced IPAs I’ve ever had - simply no harsh notes.
7/2/13: on nitro @ the brewery. Super creamy mouthfeel, as expected. Hop notes seem a bit more punchy - maybe they just stand out more when paired with the smoother body? Still outstanding, amazing to get this much flavor without the alcohol or sweetness of a DIPA.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle; shared with Reakt at the Moncada brewery; Saturday 20th December 2014. A really nice head and benchmark IPA image on the colour. The beer is well-carbonated and aroma is of hey and tropical fruits and good yeasty doughness.
The taste is oxidised but still the banging fruity notes you want from a West Coast IPA. Unfortunately it was a bit cheesy and very bready on the texture. A nice dry and long finish which was fruity. Very drinkable and I enjoyed this one.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Just two months old from its bottling date, loads of west coast hops, and that sherbet hint that the best IPA s give. More of a malt backbone than some IPAs, but still a lovely dry finish.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at Mission Dolores, Brooklyn. Pours a clear honey golden color with a big frothy beige head. Aroma is grapefruit, orange, very floral, resin. Very fresh smelling beer. Amazing. Flavor is hop forward, lots of grapefruit, and orange. Decent biscuit malt backbone that’s noticeable. Good balance. Nice carbonation. One of the best IPAs I’ve had.

Excellent aroma - citrus and pine. taste is bitter, especially in the finish. Overall, this beer is really nice. A little more piney and bitter than I would prefer.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Poured a big three finger, creek foam-like head. Very clear, light amber-copper color and big thick lacing. Aroma is very citrusy, some pine, hop resin and grapefruit. Right down the road medium body and smooth for an ipa with a little quick bite at the end. Piney, lime, citrus, grapefruit and resiny hops fill the palate. Pale malts, mellow sweet malts and caramel accented malts round it out. Very solid!

Large off-white head, lasting. Lot of lacing. Hazy orange. Piney & citrusy. Classic american hops profile. Light malt base. Very balanced. Nice bitter aftertaste. Not feeling the 7.25 ABV.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
