It’s Pretty Awesome. A San Diego classic, AleSmith IPA showcases the versatility of American hops. Aromas of grapefruit and tangerine lead into an abundance of fresh pine and tropical fruit notes followed by a crisp, resinous bitterness. The complex hop profile is supported by a firm malt presence to create an incredibly flavorful and well-balanced IPA.

UPDATED: AUG 30, 2013 2012-07-11. AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 = 3.7 Clear golden with white head. Aroma has raisin, grass, roses, citrus and biscuits. Light/medium body. Starts off fresh and crisp as a hoppy citrusy flavor builds up leaving a dry resinous aftertaste. Notes of biscuit and grapefruit too.

Re-rate 2013-08-30, a couple of months old, I think. Hazy light orange with a medium sized nicely lacing white head. Delicious hoppy nose, citrus, resin, some biscuit as well. Lots of things unfolds at the first sip, but hard to dissect the flavour. Pineapple, mango, lychee, light caramel. Very easy to drink, light dry and bitter finish, soft carbonation. Hits the spot. 8-4-8-4-17

Orange aroma. Big pillowy head that takes a long time to dissipate. Piney flavors come to the forefront but orange sweetness still present. Maybe a bit too thin in the body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Chalk this one up as one of the best IPAs of all time. The balance of malt to hoppiness is down to a near exact science. Creamy, dense white head sitting pretty on a pristine gold colored appearance. The aroma is grapefruit with soft tropical fruit in the background. A delicious and juicy IPA that I will come back for more and more and more...and more.

660ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Pearl white head resting over a hazy orange coloured body. Crocheted lacing. Ripe citrus taste with a slight touch of caramel sweetness. Sappy taste profile of citrus, pine and moderate malty sweetness. A lingering bitter aftertaste of resin and citrus peels. Well bodied. Smooth in the mouth. Drinking pleasure, indeed (Shared with friends, Prestvika, Sommarøy 02.09.2016).

golden amber lens with high vividness creating a lather white. outstanding aroma, which floods with citrus shades (grapefruit, orange, shells), pineapple, resin, pine and some candy and cereal. On the palate we have the same citrus shades (tangerine), resinous aroma but that comes with a moderate sweetness of roasted malts. Something spicy. The final drink is long and dry, with a marked bitterness which melts between effervescence and pleasant citrus and resinous flavors that create an unforgettable experience. Medium bodied and very creamy.

The aroma is hops, citrus, spruce. Pours a orange/copper with big off-white head mostly diminishing and excellent lacing. The taste is bitter. The body is medium, the texture creamy, the carbonation lively and the finish bitter. An excellent beer!

Flaske 660ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsdalen. Drukket på Lillehøgda 11 Aug 16. Gylden. Litt uklar. Pent luftig skum som varer. Heftig & god ferskenaroma. Smaken tørket aprikos. Lett syrlig etter hvert. En god del bunnfall & gjørmete siste kvelling. Utmerket øl.
