COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s Pretty Awesome. A San Diego classic, AleSmith IPA showcases the versatility of American hops. Aromas of grapefruit and tangerine lead into an abundance of fresh pine and tropical fruit notes followed by a crisp, resinous bitterness. The complex hop profile is supported by a firm malt presence to create an incredibly flavorful and well-balanced IPA.

22 oz bottle. Served in a snifter. Pours a deep honey color with a two-finger head. Floral and citrus aromas upfront. In regards to taste, the surprise here is the balance. To call an IPA "smooth" may be odd, but it’s the most accurate descriptor I can think of in this case. The hop presence is there, but it isn’t overbearing and doesn’t linger. Floral finish. This IPA would accompany many foods well, as I imagine it would bring out flavors, not dominate them.

Golden with big foamy head. Big piney aroma. Grapefruit, resin, long bitterness that covers the palate. Quite strong and heavy. Classic huge Cali style ipa. I like ipas that are a bit fruitier, but this one still tanks quite high.

0.66l bottle. Light amber body, lasting white head. Aroma of bread, caramel and honey packed with loads of hops(pine, grapefruit, grass, resins). Taste of caramel, honey, apricot, citruses and pine. One of the best IPAs I have ever tasted.

Keg. Cbc islington. Good drop despite being almost a fiver for a half. Ticks all the boxes you want - pine, pineapple, percentage.

In bottle, massive piney aroma leads to a bitter taste which sweetens. Lively carbonation leads to a bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden copper with a decent soapy white head and nice lacing. Smells a nice bouquet of citrus berry; very impressive. Has a good flavor (not great), a bit more alcohol in the taste than I like, with a much better aftertaste than the initial flavor suggests. Has a good amount of bitterness on the finish but is extremely well balanced. Really enjoyable!
