4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 slang (654) - Columbia, South Carolina, USA - AUG 9, 200922 The beer is very hoppy, complex, yet still needs a bit more Umh to top a bigger than expected alcohol bite. It simply competes w/ the hops (I’d think 7ish ABV). Don’t get me wrong this IPA has it all (pine, grapefruit, orange, & all around sweet resin); it just exists in that weird spot of being stronger that yr reg. IPA but lacking the hops & alcohol? of the big boys. Also an $8 bomber. Still It’s Pretty Awesome.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 mathieuc (281) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 23, 2013
Pours a light golden with a small head that leaves minimal lacing. Aroma is full of grapefruit and pine, really nice and almost hypnotizing. Taste is amazingly balanced with a solid malt backbone and a medium-high level of bitterness. The malt comes out a bit like honey and is not cloying at all. Flavors of citrus abound. Mouthfeel is smoooooth with a lower level of carbonation (just right). An excellent beer, I can see why it would be the top of its range!
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Benfi (292) - DENMARK - MAY 22, 2013
Appearance, deep copper color, a slight haze. Head is small, but lingering foam around the glass circumference. Aroma is lemon zest, highly hoppy, citrus. Taste is bitter and highly hoppy. Palate is hop, lemon, slight orange. Glass is covered in lace.
4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 ACHops (282) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 21, 2013
22 oz bottle. Pours light orangish amber with very thick fluffy head. Aroma is fresh juicy grapefruit hops. Hints of sweetness and pine. Taste is smooth creamy mild caramel malt with those sweet citrusy hops on the finish. Incredibly restrained bitterness, almost separate from the hops, but comes on at the finish and lingers well. Easily among the smoothest, best balanced IPAs I’ve ever had - simply no harsh notes.

NYC Trip Beer #7. Needed a good spot near the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theater in NYC. Stumbled upon the Guilty Goose, which proved fortuitous. I was excited to see this beer on the menu, as it would be my first opportunity to taste it. Poured the color of an aged orange peel with a lighter head than I expected. Flavors of citrus. Liked it, didn’t love it. Flavor was a touch on the grassy side for me. Bottle - Guilty Goose - New York, NY

Bomber from consumers beverages in Niagara Falls ny. Pours light orange with a big off white head. Looks perfect. Nice hoppy nose but it could be bigger and punchier. The flavour is solid, lots of hop flavour, lingering bitterness, dry finish. Not the freshest bottle but still highly enjoyable. Would love to try it fresher.
4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20 flying_pig (617) - SCOTLAND - MAY 18, 2013
Bottle from Brewdog.com Online Shop (650ml, £7.55):
Fruity with tonnes of tropical fruits on the nose to begin with, there is also a touch of spice and a solid, juicy aroma along with some nice, lighter pine hops and some bitterness. There mango and citrus along with some sweet malts, caramel, mango and some grapefruit.
Dark golden colour with a great, two finger sized and foamy white head on top that looks to hold pretty well initially. There is some lacing left on the sides of that glass and the beer is a clear looking one.
Sweet malts and caramel upfront with some pine hops and grapefruit giving a sweet, medium strength bitter taste. The beer is a great one with plenty of tropical flavours coming through that includes some mango, orange and tonnes of hops yet the bitterness levels are not too strong.
Medium bodied and very smooth with an almost creamy mouthfeel and good, strong carbonation. There is some sweetness and a medium bitter finish.
Probably the best beer I’ve ever had, this one is as close as I’ve come to perfection in a beer. Starting with a great tropical fruits and pine hop aroma that matches the taste. The pine hops taste is amazing, coupled with the fact that the beer isn’t overly bitter makes this truly outstanding.

Bottle pour clear yellow with orange hues. Nose of tropical fruit, pine and resin. Taste grapefruit bitterness, floral and rein hops, then huge bitterness. Balanced by sweet malt mid palate, and butt resinous finish. Great west coast IPA.
4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 dreadnord (997) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 11, 2013
Pours transparent golden orange with a thick orange white head. The nose is a perfect balance of grapefruit, orange, pine and tropical fruit. The taste is high bitter and medium high sweet damn near perfect balance. The texture is crisp and clean, body is medium and finish is long. Bomber for less than $5 makes this the best you can get.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 StaleBeer (19) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 8, 2013
Should be enjoyed at correct temperature. Color is a little cloudy copper with good lacing and foaminess. Outstanding nose of sweet earthy grapefruit. Taste a little flat at first due to improper serving temperature. Although serving temperature range is tight, excellent when correct.
