This unfiltered Belgian-Style Pale Ale pours a hazy gold with a creamy white head. Ground coriander seeds and two kinds of orange peel added to the kettle contribute pleasant citrus notes to its Belgian fermentation character. Lil’ Devil’s light body and effervescent finish make for a refreshing beer that will have you coming back for more.

12oz bottle from Bottles & Cans. 9/28/15 bottle date. Clear copper orange pour with a bit of a head. Aroma has lemons, spicy yeast, biscuity malt. Taste is light, sweet and fruity. Lemons, sweet malts, other fruits. Not too tangy yeasty, more lightly so. Light bodied and sweet. Finishes sweet and long. Tasty, refreshing brew. 13.9

12oz bottle, from Dutch’s. Bottled 9/28/15. Up front, pretty nice banana, some peach, biscuity malt, mild spiciness. Hazy orange color, thin white head. Nice ridge of lace. Medium body, decent fullness to it. Smooth, kind of creamy lighter carbonation. Mildly dry finish. Good bit of zest, some herbal character. A lot of pear. Moderate to bigger bitter taste, lighter-plus sweet, touch of tanginess. Pretty nice belgian pale ale. Very well-done. Impressive complexity and integration.
