Commercial Description:
A cross between a belgian wit and a pale ale..in essence, a toned-down Horny Devil.

It’s ok. Pours a very orangy yellow. Head falls flat and leaves no lacing at all. No strong yeast pressence, just a lot of white spice and a little orange peel. has a very pilsnery taste to me.

side by side with horny devil (which sucked ass) thanks to weeheavy SD. Gold pour with a small white head. A nice aroma of light caramel malt and belgian yeast. Flavor added a bit of spicy floral hops. Clean yet full finish, nice carbonation. Man I could sit down and drink a ton of this one.

Draught at The Red. Hazy orange with a small white head. Spices, orange, and lightly sweaty yeast in the aroma. The flavor has lots of orange, light spices, and light malt. Light bodied with low carbonation. Not a bad beer with some food when you don’t want the beer getting in the way, but there isn’t much interesting going on with it on its own.

On tap at Alesmith. Pours a hazy golden hue and a large white head. Aroma of coriander and banana esters with a bit of hop bitterness hidden away. Taste is sweet with coriander and wheat tones. Dry mouthfeel and lively bubbles.

Growler shared by pepsican. Sampled side-by-side with a bottle of Horny Devil. Poured a clear golden color with a white head. Smelled of cereal grain and a bit of banana. Light to medium bodied and dryish. Modest banana came out again in the flavor along with pale malt and subdued clove. So so. I liked this better than Horny Devil.

Sampled compliments of Pepsican. I dig about anything that’s got ’lil’ in the name. Pours with no real head but a fair corbonation. the aroma was spicy with some yeasty notes. The flavor was noce with some citrus and some spicy clove and corriander notes. This is fairly well balanced.

Tap at the brewery. Pale golden color. Sweet malty aroma with a hint of hops in the backround. Very nice drinker, taste is much the same as the aroma. I liked it.

Draught at Alesmith. Side-by-side with Horny Devil. The description is exactly what I experience: wit mixed with pale ale. Caramel malt taste replaced with the drier crispness of the wit. The end reminded me of a pils for some reason. Fun and easy to drink. Refreshing.
