3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap @ the brewery. Pours slightly cloudy golden yellow with medium head. Aroma is moderately sweet Belgian yeast. Taste is crisp pale malt with mildly funky earthy yeasty notes on the finish. Way more drinkable than Horny Devil, with a bunch if the same flavor notes. Much less sweet, which is expected.

Starts with a slightly astringent carbonation. A bit minerally. The middle has some dusty yeast flavors. Finishes thin, watery, with cereal notes. Meh.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma: wheat, yeast, grains, banana. Appearance: hazy, pale gold, small, creamy, white head. Taste: light bitter and sweet. Palate: sweets intensify, light bitter remain in the background, grain and bread malts, wheat. Overall: very nice Belgian Ale, would have thought this to be a Witbier, well-balanced. Pint at AleSmith Brewing Company, San Diego.
