This unfiltered Belgian-Style Pale Ale pours a hazy gold with a creamy white head. Ground coriander seeds and two kinds of orange peel added to the kettle contribute pleasant citrus notes to its Belgian fermentation character. Lil’ Devil’s light body and effervescent finish make for a refreshing beer that will have you coming back for more.

On tap @ the brewery. Pours slightly cloudy golden yellow with medium head. Aroma is moderately sweet Belgian yeast. Taste is crisp pale malt with mildly funky earthy yeasty notes on the finish. Way more drinkable than Horny Devil, with a bunch if the same flavor notes. Much less sweet, which is expected.

Bottled. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, caramel notes, Orange zest and spicy coreander. Sweet flavor that ends up being more dry with a little bitterness. Medium bodied, watery to oily texture and average carbonation. A very nice Belgian by style. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Belgian yeast , orange and coriander on the aroma. There is a freshness to this beer, but also a slightly thin mouthfeel.

Bottle from AEON Liquors in Koenji. Pours a clear golden orange with a small head that dissipates fairly quickly. Light orange notes with big, bubblegum and sugar notes that takeover. Sweet on the palate with a yeasty pepperiness that lingers. Well-carbonated. Kinda cloyingly sweet to be honest. Honey and candy sugar. Finish has more pepper and spice and a lingering sweetness.

a charming Belgian ale that is full enough in body and flavor for sure yet refreshing and really good ice cold. YOU LITTLE DEVIL! nice and easy enough on the alcohol. Ale smith makes good beer, and they did it again here. no cloying sweetness yet true to the style and flavor. on the spice side with just enough fruit for balance. not creamy or warming.
