3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
BOTTLED ON what looks to be 12/17/15, but the bottle is new to shelves -- donít know if itíd been aged on purpose or AleSmith and its distributors think lowly of their new east coast accounts. Nose very heavy in coriander, orange peel, lemon, medium wheat, bit of hop must, and fresh hay. Pour perfectly clear, rich golden with a sudsy beige head. Full body tastes medium sweet in the mouth, a little burn and scratch from spice (we are hovering just below the coriander soup threshold), very wheaty and drying in combination with the spice, good zesty citrus but little in the way of hops or malt, save a sunny hint of grain. Light bitterness is deft, medium-strong tartness. Boldness of flavor is nice, but the body is a little harsh, or perhaps unyielding. Clean and mighty, but I donít see a pressing need to run out for another. [2016.09.26: 3.2]

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
slightly opalescent golden colour, moderate sized, dense white head; aroma of bread, Belgian yeast, some coriander and spices; taste is the same with slight sourish notes; quite good ale, though, of course not the best AleSmith beer Iíve tried

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a solid dark yellow but zero head left after a few seconds. Aroma is of yeast and spice, sweet. Flavor follows similarly, pretty nice for relatively low abv. A nice mix of malt and yeast flavors. I donít miss hop bitter in this style, but itís a little on the sweet side. Enjoyable.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
The best way to describe this is a JV Belgian, strong flavor up front but fails in back. Slight sweet and no bitterness

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, courtesy of SinH4. Lots of coriander and orange peel indeed, over a usual but rather mellow candy sweetness. Citric. Light body with a crisp carbonation, highly refreshing and easy to drink.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
From the 12 fl. oz. bottle with a smudged bottling date that does say 2016 but I canít figure out the month. Mostly an orange pour with a thin head that fades. The aroma brings out a lot of those Belgian toasted and yeast characters that you might expect. Maybe some orange zest. Fairly inviting. The body is light to medium. The taste brings out a good toasted character and a more notable spicy Belgian bite at the finish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sarasota, Fl. - Total Wine & More - 12 oz bottle. Slight haze to the dark golden pour with a silky soft white head that leaves a nice film of lacing. Aroma is pleasant, not overly apparent with some light saffron spiciness a touch of bubble gum. Classic Belgian flavor with clean pear-like fruitiness, touch of yeast, some saffron spiciness. Mouthfeel has a solid spritz to it. Very satisfying. Glad to see this brewer making its way into Florida.
