3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
From the 12 fl. oz. bottle with a smudged bottling date that does say 2016 but I canít figure out the month. Mostly an orange pour with a thin head that fades. The aroma brings out a lot of those Belgian toasted and yeast characters that you might expect. Maybe some orange zest. Fairly inviting. The body is light to medium. The taste brings out a good toasted character and a more notable spicy Belgian bite at the finish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sarasota, Fl. - Total Wine & More - 12 oz bottle. Slight haze to the dark golden pour with a silky soft white head that leaves a nice film of lacing. Aroma is pleasant, not overly apparent with some light saffron spiciness a touch of bubble gum. Classic Belgian flavor with clean pear-like fruitiness, touch of yeast, some saffron spiciness. Mouthfeel has a solid spritz to it. Very satisfying. Glad to see this brewer making its way into Florida.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle. No apparent code date. Appearance: Murky dark golden, with minimal white head and no lacing. Appears undercarbonated.
Aroma: Sharp coriander with some toasted malt character and a light citrus peel.
Taste: Strong malt sweetness with an abrupt spicy coriander with some grassy celery. Orange peel shows up on the swallow.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with low carbonation.
Finish: Leaves a spicy coriander and citrus peel finish. Almost tea like.
Overall: An interesting, very tasty Belgian pale. The coriander is almost too strong and I pick up a bit of celery which may indicate it isnít fresh coriander. Orange peel character is nice. Iíd be interested to know what yeast is used in this beer, as itís missing the typical apple/pear Belgian esters. This beer reminds me of Blue Moon with more of a toasted malt character as opposed to wheat.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a thick white head of foam that shows good retention. Nice lacing coats the glass as the head settles out. The aroma shows notes of citrus fruit and hops with some peppery spice, orange peel, doughy bread malts, and the distinctive Belgian yeast that gives off the typical banana and clove notes. The flavor follows with the orange peel, citrus fruit, and peppery spice up front followed by the bready malts and Belgian yeast character. The citrus hops add a nice balancing bitterness as well. Medium bodied with ample carbonation that leads to a slightly dry, spicy, and moderately bitter finish. Solid Belgian pale ale, but just not really my style with the Belgian yeast.

Pours a clear gold with light white. A citrus, banana and yeast aroma. A citrus, wheat, yeast, banana and grain taste. A lighter aftertaste of citrus and yeast, but not overwhelming.
