COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This unfiltered Belgian-Style Pale Ale pours a hazy gold with a creamy white head. Ground coriander seeds and two kinds of orange peel added to the kettle contribute pleasant citrus notes to its Belgian fermentation character. Lil’ Devil’s light body and effervescent finish make for a refreshing beer that will have you coming back for more.

Bottle thanks to my wife stephrocks: Poured a hazy yellow orange with white head. Aroma is soft hops, Belgian yeast esters. Taste was more esters, hops, and spicy finish.

Bottle. Pours a near clear peachy gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a lot of clove and Belgian yeast with some sweet grains and a touch of grass. Flavor is also clove forward with some sweet grains and a bit of grass supporting.

From bottle. Pours hazy golden with a one-finger white head. Aroma of Belgian yeasts combined with a fragrant fruitiness. Taste is again Belgian yeasts with citrus, pineapple, and some mango. Gently sweet. Medium to light-bodied.

(bottle) Pours a hazy yellow color with a medium white head that dissipates quickly to form a thing ring around the pint glass. Aroma contains a large dose of fresh cut bartlett pear, a smaller dose of soapy coriander, little stings of orange, and a floral element going on as well. Smells quite similar to its bigger brother. Flavor contains floral honey, sweet pale malt, light pear, perhaps bubblegum and a subtle bitterness towards the finish. Mouthfeel is medium and carb is the appropriately geared to the high end of the spectrum. This is really crisp, clean, and technically well-executed which is no surprise given the source, and this would be a great summer session selection.

Poured from a bottle. Pours a hazy pale yellow with a white ring. Strong aroma of tart yeast and brea. Light carbonation with fine clingy bubbles. Taste is mild, bready, slightly tart yeast. OK, but flavor is too simple and doesn’t last very long.

I love the aroma, some spice and citrus kind of like ginger ale. The flavor is sweet at first with the spices but gets bitter towards the back. Dry and refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz. bottle purchased at 7 Eleven, Kittery ME. Mildly hazy gold in color with very soft carbonation level. Aroma is mellow Belgian yeast, straw and citrus peel, pleasant.

Flavor starts off with the orange peel and provides pale grains and good fruit flavors. Body is lighter with notable coriander seed toward the finish. Notes of banana ester’s. Light with a reasonable refreshing quality. A decent lower ABV of Horny Devil.
