UPDATED: JUN 17, 2007 On tap at Stone. Hazy pinkish yellow hue with thin fluffy white head. Really wonderful flower-like aroma. Taste honey, hibiscus, passion fruit - in a word, tropical. I didn’t pick up any distinct corriander notes. Smooth slightly dry and sweet finish. A damn fine Belgian.

The beer was really pretty. A sweet light beer, sort of lemony - apparently it has orange peels in it. It’s a good beer for when it’s sunny outside. I tend to gravitate towards dark beers, which is good during the current time of year, but it’s nice to branch out and find some lighter beers that I can drink when summer comes around.

Wow! Not only was this a great beer but the guys over at Ale Smith were really nice. I stopped by unannounced and they were closed. I banged on their door until they let me in. Instead of turning me away into the heartless sober wilds of San Diego they invited me back to the tasting area and treated me great. They let me sample anything I wanted and even gave me paraphernalia. Thanks Ale Smiths! Now to the beer! Spicy and cool with yeasty tastes. Coriander, orange and something else that makes me think of aromatic little garden plants.

Growler from deadgirl. Pours a cloudy yellowish color. Aroma is really damn nice. Funky, lemon, light spice, yeast and some fruity notes. Flavor is a bit funky, a bit tart...some spice...fruit....belgian deliciousness. Damn great beer. Alesmith does it again!

Draft- an amazing belgian/pale ale taste explosion that you can drink all afternoon long. Wish they sold this in 12 ounce bottles, because this is where the beer belongs. Super bready scent, balanced by pnw hops, and some mild, but unique, beligian yeast strains. Could not recommend this more.

Golden color...very floral aroma. A crisp fruity taste with a great hoppiness followed by a bitter/dry finish and an overall crisp fruity flavor. I am just really beginning to love this style.

I had this on tap at AleSmith and enjoyed it very much. It is an excellent Belgian style ale. Nice citrus with a bit of coriander. Good color with a nice head and a delicious aroma. Glad I had my growler filled with it :)

Clear orange beer with a creamy white head. Yeasty and orangy aroma. Flower and straw tones. Triple-like. Lots of fruit and sour citrus tones in the flavor. Coriander and wheat also. Like a flavorfull and spicy wheat beer. Extremely tasty!

On tap at AleSmith. I really like the light flavor. Citrusy and sweet, easy body and crisp and light finish made it easy to drink. The kind lady providing the sample said it was "good for chicks". Nicely put!

This is a beer I can live everyday with quite happily. my first sniff brought a smile to my face as i revelled in all the fruity spicy aromas coming from this cask conditioned treat. the taste was equally as pleasing, at first many flavors, coriander and a sweetness were the prevelant ones. as the beer warmed slightly it became very easy to drink and very enjoyable as the flavors melded together in perfect harmony. the mouthfeel was full, cask conditioning will do that, but it was more than just that, it was a truelly full bodied beer. this is a lawn-mower beer for the beer lover.
