Don’t spend this Single Awareness Day alone – grab a beer! This red-blooded cousin of Evil Dead Red Ale, our Halloween Brew, is a beautiful crimson color. Notes of caramel, toast, and bittersweet chocolate balance an intense bouquet of floral hop aromas that we know you’ll fall in love with. The finish leaves a pleasant, full-bodied sweetness on the palate that won’t spread angry rumors about you to all your friends like that one time when I was…ohh…uhh…Happy Valentine’s Day!

Bottle: The aroma consists of caramel, cola, aged citrus hops, and a hint of grain. It pours transparent dark orangish-brown with a small beige head that fades to a very fine ring. The flavor starts with moderate caramel with a touch of grainy/cereal notes. The finish has some aged citrus hops with a hint of pine. It’s medium bodied with soft carbonation and mouthfeel. Overall, it tastes like an old IPA.

Pours a deep mahogany, brown color. Aroma is of sweet malt mixed with a caramel smell. Taste is of doughy malt, mixed with a heavy caramel flavor. At first I thought the beer was too swsweet, but as the beer warmed it became aromatic. This beer got better as I reached the bottom of the bottle. Smooth aftertaste and easy drinking of a complex beer.

Deep orange brown. Heavy lacing. Some caramel malts on the nose giving way to earth hops as it warms. Similar experience with the taste...very malt forward at first with a lot of caramel, almost like an old-ale-lite, then becomes more of like a hoppy amber. Solid.

Brown with a khaki head. Hops, pine, fresh, sticky, and malts. Great chewy palate, piney hops, bread, dough, great finish.

Bomber from Rays in Tosa. Pours an orangey brown with an orange head leaving some nice lacing. Aroma has sweet fruits, stone fruits, pine, tangy spices and caramel. Luscious "american strong" blend in the aroma - quite hoppy. Taste is of sweet fruits, heavy spicy pine, tangy other spices, lots of caramelly & biscuity malts and resin. Medium bodied and quite dry. Finishes bittersweet, and in terrific balance between the two, with a touch of a peppery tang adding some length. A terrifically hoppy amber = an "american strong ale" in my book. Regardless a very nice brew!

22oz bottle from Downer Wine and Spirits. Pours a deep, ruby reddish brown color with a huge tan head and some lacing. Aroma is hoppy, grassy, hay, flowers. Medium on the palate with creamy carbonation. Flavor is sweet, malty, caramel, toffee, bread, some grassy hops, with a light bitter hop finish. Interesting.

Bottle; Pour is dark mahogany, with a one finger, fine bubbled khaki head this glass. It’s not as nice looking as Evil Dead Red - whatever. The nose is caramel, biscuit notes, with a nice american hop profile, but theres a mineral presence as well here that takes it down a notch. Retention was fairly poor as well. Whatever. The flavor profile shines though, but Evil Dead Red is the king, if you’re wondering. This one is sticky caramel buns, more minerals, pine and citrus notes, with some light fade near the finish. It’s a proper amber, for sure, but I’ve got Evil Dead Red on the brain.

Deep dark mahogany under a thick rocky off-cream head. Wonderful nose of chocolate covered cherries and a sharp tartness of red fruity berry, atop a mildly bitter floral hop resin. The flavor is a wee bit on the mild side, and starts with a mild-ish caramel maltiness...but then halfway through it turns into a chocolate cherry cordial flavor, with a pseudo synthetic strawberry creme flavor reminiscent of chocolate-cherry ice cream. Very nice and interesting. Finishes with a light touch of chocolate.

On tap at the brewery. Light brown in color with a decent sized beige head. Aroma is of caramel, strawberry, almost candy-like, honey, brown sugar, and a hint of piney hops. Taste is of strawberry blending to caramel, light raisin, faint earthy notes, honey, and juicy orange. I usually HATE amber ales...this is a GREAT beer.

22 oz. bomber from Frazier Farms. Ruby red pour with one inch beige head that lasts and leaves lacing. Aroma of brown sugar, grapefruit, resin, floral, hay, bread, and caramel. Flavor is sweet and bitter at the same time, with the bitter winning out in the end. Too many high alpha hops for me, tastes like Cascade and Centennial with too much grapefruit flavor. I detect some roasted grain and coffee notes in the finish. Overall kind of nice but I’m not crazy about it. I like the 6.66% abv. the number of the beast.
