AleSmith Nut Brown is a tribute to one of our favorite British styles. Deep mahogany in color, its rich, malt-forward flavor profile balances notes of biscuit, mild cocoa and earthy hops. A creamy mouthfeel and full body enhances its drinkability, making Nut Brown an extremely sessionable ale that embodies our commitment to quality.

Bottle thanks to my wife stephrocks: Poured a caramel brown with tan head. Aroma is sweet malts. Taste is a mix of sweet and roasted malts. Disclaimer: If you leave your rating book at an event there is a chance someone will write in it. Apparently I absolutely love this beer! Tastes like dem titties.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber brown with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice nuttiness with some sweet grains and a bit of a bread note. Flavor has a bit more bread with a nice nuttiness and a light sweetness supporting.

Poured from bottle. Very nice nutty and roasted malt aroma that follows through in the flavour. Very smooth.

Tap at Erzbierschof Zurich. Very nutty aroma indeed, beautiful. Creamy and malty, soft and pleasant, but still with a good dose of taste. Laid back and really well done.

Big bottle acquired by Wreck It Ralph host from Princeton Liquors. Served up in a large mug. Dark brown color. Little bit of roasted malt aroma with nut characteristics. Taste has some chocolate espresso notes. Sweetness at the onset. Lots of roasted notes. Surprisingly quite drinkable. Its mouthfeel is slightly thin...probably more than I expected. Getting a dose of bitterness at the end. Like dark chocolate bars. Nice beer overall.

Poured rom a bottle dated 23 Nov 2015. Pours a deep reddish brown with a thin tan ring. Medium body, clingy. Roasted malt and nut aroma. Smooth but somewhat flat tasting. Nut flavor is rather weak. Not sure if this is its normal flavor or just a bad bottle? It was not very good. Flat and blah, hard to enjoy it this way.

Bot, pour appears somewhat thick. Quite dark. Friendly roasted chocolate mild aroma. Quite friendly and reserved on the palate, enjoyable. Feels a little thick and slippery on the tongue, not much co2. Almost has a cask feel about it.

Brown color with reddish hues and beige head. Aroma has very nice nutty, chocolate and coffee notes. Smells delicious. Taste starts sweet and nutty but finishes quite watery and bland. Body is also on the light side with smooth carbonation. Aroma is great but the taste doesn’t quite deliver.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a dark brown color with orange highlights and a small foamy off white head that left good lacing. The aroma was dry, roasty and woody. The flavor was dry, toasty, woody and earthy with a bot of cola. Medium length finish. Medium body. Ok.
