22 oz bottled on 9/11/13 from Evergreen Discount Liquor, shared and poured into a Duvel tulip. Dark brown with a nice, lingering head and light lacing. Aroma is rich and malty with caramel, chocolate, nuts, bread, light roast and light fruit. Similar flavor, medium sweetness balanced by earthy bitter hops. Light to medium body with a creamy feel, soft carbonation and a semi-dry finish.

Genialne piwo! Doskonale pijalne, nienagannie ułożone.

dark brown colour, a bit too quickly collapsing beige head; aroma and taste of figs, grape, toffee and roasted maltynes; could be a bit more bodied, otherwise ok

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Moderate roasted, nutty and a hint of coffee for the malt, light herbs for the hops, light dough for the yeast, with a hint of brown sugar in the background. Head is large frothy, light tan with excellentlacing and is mostly lasting. Color is clear dark brown. Flavor starts faintly sweet and lightly to moderately acidic, then finishes lightly to moderately acidic and lightly bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery, with a lively carbonation. A bit of a let down, deep aromas but not a lot of depth in flavor. Still a nice Brown Ale overall.

Poured from bomber. Less head than expected. Nutty, caramel, and toffee in the nose. Very pleasant. Toffee and caramel present in the mouth as well. Aftertaste was a little acidic for me, almost like old coffee. Still a solid brew.

8/X/13 - 1Pt. 6Fl. Oz. bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ home - BB: n/a, bottled: II/22/13 (2013-932)
Clear purple beer, creamy light beige head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of dried fruits, ripe banana, some toast, caramel, brown sugar, sweet. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: bit sourish start, caramel, toast, red fruits, overripe banana. Aftertaste: little sour, dried fruits, caramel, some liquorish, bit watery, sourish, vinegar touch even, red sour berries and red currant. Not so great, if you ask me.

22oz bottle. Deep amber-brown body, looks unfiltered. Frothy, steady beige head. Toffee, chocolate, very mild coffee. Pretty nice, balanced brown ale...should be in sixpacks. Fruity English yeast notes. Pretty solid for the style, but kind of a snoozer, not one I’d get again at bomber prices.
