Barrel Aged Kopi Luwak Speedway Stout is our award winning year round Speedway Stout with Kopi Luwak Coffee that has been matured in premium bourbon barrels. Considered one of the world’s most expensive and rare coffee varieties, the beans are specifically selected for their ripeness and quality by the civet, a small jungle marsupial that feeds of the fruit of the coffee cherry. Good to the last dropping!

bottle shared by tom10101, thanks bro. pours dark brown with a very nice medium dark beige head, good retention and lacing. burnt hazelnuts, dense milky chocolate, peppercorn dark chocolate bar, some smoke, dark cherries, un-stale bitter coffee, gentle woodsy bourbony notes - never overwhelming, warming alcohol, pinch of dirt. low carbonation, medium to full body - oily and sticky, grassy-bitter coffee finish. tasty and very good! a rare coffee ris that i truly enjoyed!

Bottle shared by tom10101, thanks! Pours a pitch black with a weak dark brown head that offers light lacing. Nose is fruity, chocolatey and contains a good dose of fresh coffee. Taste is sweet and features nice chocolate, caramel and bourbon. Never cloying or too boozy, unreal. Mouthfeel is smooth, carbonation low, body full. Really nice, a superior stout for sure!

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a nice large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of deep roasted barley malt with notes of dry coffee with some hazelnut notes with light bourbon undertones which rounds off some of the rough edges. Taste is a mix between some dry roasted malt notes with coffee notes and some hazelnut and bourbon notes which helps rounds off the flavours. Body is quite full with good carbonation and nice creamy body and no apparent alcohol. This is definitely one of the best versions of Speedway that I have ever tried. All the flavours are well balanced and don’t clash between each other’s. The complexity level is quite high but the drinkability is also quite high.

From notes. Bottle share courtesy of Bytemesis. Thank you! Overall, very balanced, with well-integrated flavors. Aromas of dusty earth, earthy soil, dark chocolate, dusty coco, coffee and vanilla. Flavors of rich chocolate and caramel, with a loonggg, fairly bitter, finish. Bourbon flavors are not as pronounced as I expected, yet well very well integrated. Very complex, yet subtle and strong. --- tasted while on a long journey to understand the world around me...

Opaque black, thin cappuccino head. Sweet aroma of espresso, silky vanilla, soft caramel, rich chocolate, and hints of marshmallow. Taste is a blend of bittersweet flavors. Slick, smooth, and coats the inside of your mouth. A smidgen too lively in carbonation and full-bodied. Mild to moderate booziness and a long, black coffee finish.

Bottle with thanks to Cocoapuph! Pours opaque black with a small tan head that dissipates fairly quickly with some lacing. Aroma is pretty strong espresso, roast, chocolate, bourbon, vanilla. Light plus sweet and only lightly bitter, with light woody astringency. Full bodied and rich. Fairly hot, but otherwise a very good blend of stout and barrel that clearly exceeds the original.

Pitch black, brown foam. Rich chocolate smell tempered with a little coffee. Cherry, bourbon barrel notes. Amazing flavor. Bourbon cherry, alcohol, roast, coffee, bitter. So much better than the regular BA speedway.

Shared by High Wine. Black body and thrown head. Aroma is weasel shit I guess. I mean its not coffee and it isn’t the smell that I will make tomorrow morning. But its not like anything else. So it must be coffee tinted rodent feces. Mouthfeel is velvety smooth but not heavy. Taste is not overly boozy or coffee. Not sweet either. Surprisingly well done.

Bottle, thanks to high wine for sharing, pours black with off white head. Aroma of vanilla, hazelnut, green pepper, booze. Flavors of green pepper, vanilla, coconut, cherry, hot booze and wood, bit sharp, tannic. Med body. Meh.

Bottle. Pour is black with a thin mocha head. Aroma is coffee, vanilla, oak, chocolate and roasted malt. Taste is faint barrel char, vanilla and mostly coffee. Full bodied and decent carbonation. Another great Speedway!
