hand bottle at home ... huge thanks for this one... which was offered out of blue ... deep black ... no head ... big soft coffee roast ... rich deep complex coffee nose... huge coffee front ... incredibly low bitterness ... big chocolate ... light oily rich body .. good solid roast ... very very nice ...by far my favourite of the speedways ... the comes a slight increase in bitterness as this warms ... but the coffee flavours increase even more ... oddly for a stout i think this is better from the fridge and as i didnt have other speedways chilled i wonder if i would enjoy them more chilled

8th January 2011 Big thanks to cgarvieuk for a taster of this - Cheers Craig. Lovely minerally coffee nose on this very dark brown beer. No head and next to no carbonation. Sillky almost oily palate. Mildy sour dark malt with rich coffee that starts mellow and blooms in to something stronger. The coffee keeps going andf going through to a lingering aftertaste. Lovely coffee beer!
